The 2024 Walk of Champions held on September 8 raised $125,594 for Myeloma Research in London, Ontario.  A total of $1,222,550 has been raised since the walk started in 2009.

Walk of Champions

Join us for our annual Walk of Champions, held each September in support of myeloma research in London.

This inspiring event raises vital funds for clinical trials that give patients access to breakthrough therapies. Since 2009, the walk has raised more than $1.2 million.

 

Coffee Break Time

Drop in the first Tuesday of every month from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at YFC Café Connect (254 Adelaide St. South, London).

Catch up with Myeloma Support Group members over coffee, cookies, and conversation in a relaxed, welcoming space.

Myeloma Support Group Members meet at Springbank Park in London, Ontario

Outdoor Get-Togethers

Join members of the Myeloma Support Group for a casual gathering in Springbank Park.

We meet near the washroom facilities—enter the park at the Main Park Entrance (at the traffic lights on North Street and Commissioners Road), and follow the road to the parking lot on the left-hand side.

Bring your own lawn chair, drink, and snack, and enjoy a relaxed afternoon of conversation and connection.

Myeloma Support Group Meetings

Our group meets five times a year—January, March, May, July, and November at The Church of St. Jude (1537 Adelaide Street North, London).

Everyone is welcome. Meetings include guest speakers, updates, and time to connect.

Myeloma Awareness Days are held in the Resource Centre of The Verspeeten Family Cancer Centre every five weeks on a Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.  Several members of the support group will be there.

Myeloma Awareness Days (MAD)

Every five weeks on a Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., we host Myeloma Awareness Days in the Resource Centre of The Verspeeten Family Cancer Centre.

Members of our support group are available to meet patients and caregivers, answer questions, and share educational resources.
