Knowledge is the Best Medicine
Join our local support group for education, community, and care.
Need support? You're not alone.
The London & District Myeloma Support Group offers support, provides education, and participates in advocacy.
We also host an annual fundraising walk to raise money for myeloma research, benefiting patients treated at London Health Sciences Centre.
What is multiple myeloma?
Multiple myeloma is a type of blood cancer that affects plasma cells in the bone marrow. While it is a rare and complex disease, treatment options and survival rates have improved significantly in recent years.
Our group is made up of myeloma patients and caregivers who share information, offer connection, and help others navigate their myeloma journey. We provide access to the latest research, clinical trials, drug therapies, and medical advances.
We maintain a strong relationship with Myeloma Canada, a leading source of up-to-date, Canada-specific information.
Advances in treatment are being driven by organizations like Myeloma Canada, the International Myeloma Foundation (IMF), the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation (MMRF), and support groups around the world.
That’s why joining a local support group is so important. It helps individuals feel informed and empowered — and strengthens the myeloma community as a whole.
